Schares Landscaping got its start after founder Ryan Schares spotted a gap in the local landscaping industry. Despite enjoying the comfort of working the second shift at John Deere, Ryan returned to his roots in landscaping and land management and filled his downtime with small landscaping and excavation jobs. Not before long, jobs kept coming in, and Ryan was balancing two jobs and 80-hour work weeks. After some convincing, Ryan’s wife gave him the go-ahead to leave his job at John Deere and put his full time and energy into Schares Landscaping. Today, Ryan and his small team have grown to become trusted hardscape and excavation contractors, delivering quality results across a range of landscaping and land management services. With over 15 years of landscaping experience, the Schares name has become recognized as one of the top landscaping contractors in the area.
